Music Teacherkbakerhfsauburn.comKatie Baker is delighted to join Holy Family Catholic School as the music teacher for the upcoming school year. She holds degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance from the University of Washington, as well as a Master of Science in Church Management from Villanova University.
Katie has experience teaching preschool and elementary music, choir, voice, and dance, along with many years of service in Catholic parish music ministry. In addition to teaching music, she currently teaches ballet and tap at a local dance studio. Katie is passionate about creating a joyful, positive, and encouraging classroom where every child feels supported, valued, and inspired to grow in confidence and faith.
Katie and her husband live in Black Diamond with their four children, Meredith, Wyatt, Benjamin, and Caroline. Outside the classroom, she enjoys singing, dancing, reading, baking, and playing games with her family. One of her favorite family traditions is watching her children participate in their annual production of The Nutcracker. She is also an enthusiastic Seattle Seahawks fan.
Katie feels blessed to be a part of the Holy Family community and looks forward to getting to know the students, families, faculty, and staff while sharing the joy of music with the school.
